‘Bikini Reborn’ is a follow-up to the documentary “Ocean Dreams”, a film about the ocean’s resilience when we leave it alone. When it is given a chance to heal, life can return. In ‘Bikini Reborn’, you can follow coral researchers Sylvia Jagerroos and Didier Zoccola as they dive at the Bikini Atoll in search of surviving corals.
‘Ocean Dreams’ tells the story of killer whales returning to the Norwegian fjords, how the coral reefs around Raja Ampat in Indonesia are teeming with fish, and how life has recovered around the Bikini Atoll despite 23 nuclear bomb tests that pulverised all life 80 years ago.
