Johan Candert

Johan Candert is an experienced documentary film producer and director who began his career as an underwater photographer.

He has produced over 20 feature-length films and series for Sveriges Television (SVT). A pioneer of technical diving in Scandinavia, Johan felt compelled to bring a camera with him to document a world few other divers had access to. This experience not only deepened his passion for visual storytelling but also for the art of narrative itself. Johan holds a master’s degree in documentary film production from Stockholm University of the Arts.
